Answer: Yes, you may participate in the Affiliate Program if you live outside the United States. However, the customers you refer must be in the U.S. or Canada. Please note that referral fees are paid in U.S. dollars. Q. How should I design my Web site? Answer: Every Affiliate's site is unique, and we don't provide any kind of standard template for you to start with. That's because successful partners will have a pre-existing Web site when they join the program. You should try to make your recommendations or links to branders.com look and feel like the rest of your site. Q. I don't know how to write HTML or use my site development tool, will Branders.com help me? Answer: No. Q. What sorts of communications will Branders.com send me? Answer: We will occasionally send you email messages that include merchandising tips, site news, special offers for Affiliates, and important updates on Affiliates policies. These messages will include up-to-date information on opportunities that can benefit Affiliates. Q. When and how do I get paid? Answer: We will pay you referral fees on a monthly basis. Within 30 days following the end of each month, we will send you a check for the referral fees earned subject to our standard Terms and Conditions. We will accrue and withhold referral fees until the total amount due is at least $100.00. Q. Why are there negative numbers in my earnings reports? Answer: A negative number represents a returned or refunded product. For a product sale to be eligible for a referral fee, a customer must follow a properly formatted link from your site to our site, select and purchase the product from Branders.com and accept delivery. If a customer refuses delivery of a product for which you have been credited referral fees, those fees will be subtracted from your account when we receive the returned product. Remember that customers can return an item 30 or more days after it has been shipped, so the original record for the shipped item and the corresponding record for the returned item may not show up on the same report. Q. How does Branders.com track orders coming from my Web site? Answer: An Affiliate's ID is assigned when you sign up through our online form. Links from Affiliate Web sites to Branders.com use a special format that includes this code. Every time a customer follows one of those links to our site, this unique URL tells us which Affiliate sent the customer to us. Q. How long does the cookie track Affiliate sales? Answer: 45 days. Even if the visitor clicks through the creative on an Affiliate's site and does not make an immediate purchase the Affiliate will still receive credit for orders made up to 45 days later. Q. Does Branders.com have an online reporting feature so that I can keep track of my earnings and traffic? Answer: Yes, once you've been accepted into the program, you will have access to our "members only" area. There, you'll be able to view your earnings and traffic reports at any time. Q. Will I earn referral fees for personal orders that I make through my Web site? Answer: We do not pay referral fees for personal orders. The nature of the marketing agreement between Branders.com and its Affiliates involves the payment of referral fees for referring new customers. It is important that we are paying for new customers and not simply providing Affiliates additional discounts above and beyond the already discounted items offered by Branders.com. Q. Can I receive payment in ways other than by check? Answer: No. |
