MANILA, Philippines —, a Philippine-registered global promotional products company based in the Ortigas business district, retained its desired position as the best-paying employer in its business sector.

In the 2010 compensation and benefits study by human resources consultants Towers Watson, still holds the top spot in the Business Process Outsourcing companies (BPOs) bracket.

“ was the clear winner in compensating its employees in salary, bonuses, and benefits,” stated the compensation study executive summary.

The study, which covered the annual base salaries, guaranteed fixed bonuses and benefits of employees in 12 BPO companies across 40 benchmark jobs, was conducted from June 2009 to July 2010. Seventy-five percent of these companies are American and Canadian in origin.

Technically, jobs at are not classified as outsourced since employees render work for their own company, but the company was grouped with BPOs because it provides services using ICT systems and employees perform jobs in sync with US mainland office hours.

“It is our company policy to attract the best. Thus, we also want to give the best compensation package there is in this sector. Sales representatives at earned 56 percent higher than their counterparts in the second highest-paying company. Sales representatives who have stayed longer in enjoyed a 58 percent margin over their counterparts in the second highest-paying company.

“Working as a sales representative at is a lucrative long-term option,” the study specified and added that “multiple types of jobs across all pay graded tended to get better total compensation packages.”

The company is expanding its Manila office, which is its hub for IT servicing, Account Management, Marketing and Design, Finance and Engineering. Its other offices are in the US, Mexico and Shanghai.

Joie Fuentes,’s Director for Sales and Marketing, states the company is looking into increasing its sales staff this year due to optimistic growth projections. The projections are a result of the better than expected performance of the company in the fourth quarter of 2010.

Concluding its report, Towers Watson cited a recent industry study which predicted that in the next five years, the BPO industry in the Philippines could grow to $20 billion and 900,000 employees, or even to $25 billion and 1.3 million employees, providing rich new opportunities for jobseekers. “Our research suggests that within this dynamic sector, the most attractive work incentives can be found at,” it stated
