“When the Second Choice Can be the Right One”

California-based software solutions company TechEmpower has a one-size-fits-all solution in dealing with its clients.

With more than ten years’ experience in business, law, and finance, Dina is naturally discerning in decision making.

Her experience in having managed multimillion-dollar Web development projects, requiring coordination across thirty-five countries and implementation in eighteen languages, has made her more so.

She applies this same discipline in looking for the right company to source promotional items for employees and clients. With an impressive roster that includes Fortune 500 companies such as Hewlett-Packard, IBM, and Xerox, as well as ambitious start-ups and midsize firms, Dina surely has to put serious thought in the company’s giveaways.

She shops around and compares prices and production time before making her decision. “I tried to use a couple of different vendors for my logo merchandise, primarily based on cost,” Dina says.

Searching online for logo merchandise, Dina came upon Branders.com. Prices were comparable with other promotional product companies, she found out. Dina was more concerned with turnaround time as the items she wanted to order were for TechEmpower’s tenth anniversary party.

Vouching for quality

Dina was interested in receiving samples – particularly pens, calculators, mints, lip balm, mugs, tagless tees, and beverage totes – to inspect product quality.

The verdict?

“I found the quality of the products to be about the same as other vendors,” Dina says. “But the service from Branders was far superior to that of other vendors that I canceled my order with them and ordered everything from Branders.”

Dina was already in a time crunch when she canceled her other order.

“I was quite nervous, but my account manager, Edward Cary, assured me that everything would get to me on time,” Dina attests.

Timely deliveries

Edward, she says, was “amazing” in helping her get replacements ordered. “He had them rushed through production so they could be here for the party.”

The orders arrived on time, and with her worries aside, Dina could afford to enjoy TechEmpower’s anniversary party.
