Trina works for the American Kidney Fund, a nonprofit organization that addresses kidney disease through health education and prevention and extends financial help to needy patients.
As Director of Outreach Programs, Trina helps develop and implement programs to raise awareness for kidney disease. Giveaways bearing theAmerican Kidney Fund logo—lunch bags, first-aid kits, nonwoven bags, lip balm, whistles, and pens—have helped Trina and her team further their advocacy. In 2010 alone, the organization reached 14 million people with education and prevention outreach, and supported 101,000 dialysis patients all over America.
Trina heard of Branders from a colleague who had sourced reusable grocery bags and hand sanitizers from the company. "My department used some of the products at several of our events and received a great response from the audience," Trina shared. Since then, she has continued to reorder these items and even added new products to ensure the organization has a range of custom giveaways to reach a wider audience.
Trina sees promotional items as a "wonderful way to engage new customers in an unobtrusive manner." The logo-bearing giveaways that the American Kidney Fund has sourced from Branders have opened doors for the organization, helped increase awareness for kidney disease, and brought in new donors.-
